Procedure of removing of published articles

Removal of already published article is an extreme measure and is applied in the case of opening facts that were not known during the review:

- Detection of violations of law and defamation

- Detection of false or inaccurate data, especially those whose use may pose a risk to health

1. Authors, readers, reviewers, editors, and publishers can initiate the removal of the article by written request to the Committee on Conflict Resolution of the journal in which the article was published

2. Committee on Conflict Resolution considers the treatment

3. Committee on Conflict Resolution makes a decision to remove the published article for the «Russian
Journal of Dental Implantology» if there is sufficient evidence in favor of removal

4. Committee on Conflict Resolution notifies the initiator of article’s removal on the outcome of treatment in writing

5. The Committee provides Editors with metadata of an article to publish information about removal of the article in case if it was adopted a decision to remove the published article.
Editors publish information about the removal of the article in the «Russian Journal of Dental Implantology» with indicating of the article’s metadata and the reasons of withdrawal

6. If the articles of the «Russian Journal of Dental Implantology» journal from which the article is withdrawn are indexed by databases, these databases are sent a letter stating that the article has been removed with the reasons of withdrawal
